Dear Collaborative Leadership Team Members,

Our next Collaborative Community Meeting will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00AM Pacific/2:00PM Eastern (connection details below). We will be hosting Dr. Allison Scott, Chief Research Officer at the Kapor Center for Social Impacthttp://kaporcenter.org/. Dr. Scott will be focusing on STEM learning for girls of color and we will be facilitating a conversation around hybrid learning spaces, a concept covered in the article "Creating Hybrid Spaces for Engaging School Science Among Urban Middle School Girls," attached here for your reference. The NGCP is pleased to announce a partnership with Paramount Pictures for the animated feature film, WONDERPARKhttps://www.paramount.com/movies/wonder-park. Highlighting collaboration and growth mindset, WONDERPARK celebrates the creativity and engineering prowess of the main character June, a young girl who takes us on a journey through her imagination as she and her friends try save the theme park of her dreams. We hope you will join us in building awareness about this film. NGCP will be initiating screenings and associated activities. More information soon!
