Hello to The Connectory Exchange (TCE) Community Coordination group,
We hope you are all well and weathering this current state of uncertainty. We have had many program providers whose opportunities have been postponed, cancelled, or moved to a virtual setting, and we expect those numbers to grow in coming days and weeks. In an effort to address this we are moving up our next community meeting to discuss emerging issues and talk about how The Connectory and the Exchanges can be more responsive to the need for online resources.
MARCH METRICS Things to note (see attachment):
- Programs and active opportunities continue to increase, albeit at a much slower rate than past months due to COVID-19 pandemic. States with highest increases in opportunities: NC (13)
- Pageviews down 35%. Users down 27%. Time on Site down by 19%. This is expected behavior due to current pandemic.
NEXT MEETING (UPDATED DOODLE POLL): Please take a moment to fill out the updated Doodle poll for our next meeting slated for May 2020: https://doodle.com/poll/7y3rp744hen65ka8
TWITTER CHAT Our next Twitter chat will focus on how to identify quality STEM online learning opportunities using the hashtag #QualitySTEMonline. We are in the process of identifying our partners and will schedule the date soon. If you are interested in participating or partnering let us know.
Take care,
Kathy Thomas
