Hi Sherika,
The Brite team will create and play the slideshow during BriteFest! So, you don't have to worry about it. 🙂
We will ask program leaders to call upon 1-2 girls from your program to share while the slideshow is played.
Thank you!
Kata

Subject: Re: [Brite] Brite Reminders and Updates
Hi Kata,
We would like some clarification on the Brite model project. Once the girls upload images of their models onto Flipgrid, are the Program leaders responsible for creating a slideshow for the WSF member to share during Britefest tomorrow?
Please advise.
Thank you,
Sherika Adams

Wow, what an amazing Brite Assembly with Suzana Herculano-Houzel!
A few reminders and updates:
Today's Brain Model Activity: Girls will upload a photo of their Brain Model to the topic on Flipgrid that corresponds to their program. Each program has their own Flipgrid topic found here on the platform: 4.6 BRAIN MODEL—FLIPGRIDhttps://worldscienceu.com/lessons/4-6-brain-model-flipgrid/. Uploads should simply be a photo of their brain model. We will play a slideshow of each program's photo submissions during BriteFest. I'll send an email later today with additional details.
Amy's Bonus Challenge: Please remind girls to complete the Brite neuron in EyeWire by tomorrow. If they do so, they will get to name the neuron during tomorrow's BriteFest! To participate in the challenge, girls should watch Amy's video and follow the instructions in the Monday Module on the Brite Platform: 1.12 BONUS CHALLENGEhttps://worldscienceu.com/lessons/1-12-bonus-challenge/.
Brite Resource List: Here is the complete Brite Resource Listhttps://ngcproject.org/sites/default/files/brite_resources_week1-3.pdf. These resources are also found on the Brite platform at the end of each day.
Brite Playlist: Check out Jen Stancil’s, from The Hello Studios, celebratory end-of-program Spotify playlisthttps://open.spotify.com/playlist/4bAvQ4zuxe70yegE0CsKSo?si=bAHADyjnS_apMnl9qMSrqw. Girls can also find this playlist in lesson 5.6 Additional Resources.https://worldscienceu.com/lessons/5-6-additional-resources-3/
Media Releases: If you haven’t gathered media releases from your girls, please do so and send to me at klucas@ngcproject.orgmailto:klucas@ngcproject.org.
Thank you!
