Thank you for a great orientation meeting yesterday. We are looking forward to working with you on The Brite Program this summer!
As we get ready for our first week and respond to your suggestions, you will be receiving several messages from us this week. We are working through our ToDos.
Week One Educator Guide: We hope to have Week One ready to distribute to you this Thursday; however we may be sending you a pdf version that is not fully designed with the final version available on Monday. The content will be finalized, but we realize it might be helpful for you to have the information before the long weekend, even though it is not in its final design.
Office Hours: Office hours will be held weekly each Tuesday in July (7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28) at 2:00pm Mountain/3:00pm Central/4:00pm Eastern via zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81656465248. This meeting is NOT required. Several of us will be in the Zoom room to answer questions you may have. The first meeting on July 7, would be a good time to answer questions about the Technical Guide and Week One Curriculum, if you have them.
Public Web Page: https://ngcproject.org/brite is the public facing web page listing all grantees and the press release.
Grantee Resources Web Page: https://ngcproject.org/BriteGrantees is a page just for grantees with resources, including the media kit, updated FAQs, PowerPoint slides from yesterday's orientation, as well as the recording can be accessed from this page. We will continue to add resources to this page as they are identified and developed.
Doodle Poll to Schedule Program Debrief: In August we will be holding a Brite Program debrief session to celebrate and collect information from you. Please complete this Doodle Pollhttps://doodle.com/poll/49adv2fcq86zfvbt by Monday, July 13, so we can select a convenient date for this debrief session. Doodle poll full link: https://doodle.com/poll/49adv2fcq86zfvbt
National Webinar: We will hold a national webinar to recap Brite on Tuesday, November 17 at 12pm Mountain/1:00 Central/2pm Eastern. Please mark your calendars! We will provide information about the program and ask several of you to highlight your programs. NGCP national webinars typically host more than 200 people, and are recorded and shared on our website.
Thanks again for all you are doing to support girls and to make Brite a success!
