Hello everyone,

The FabFems Role Model Directoryhttp://www.fabfems.org/ is live and ready to be populated!  Please pass this along to your networks and to any female role models you know who may be interested in working with girls to increase their interests in STEM.  We are hoping to reach 100 role models by this Friday, March 16!  If you have questions or would like further information about the project, please e-mail me or Laura Enman at lenman@edlabgroup.org.

Below is a recruitment message for your use.  We look forward to this becoming a growing resource for our projects, partners and beyond!

FabFems - Outreach Opportunities for Role Models

The FabFems Role Model Directoryhttp://www.fabfems.org/ has launched! We are seeking female role models interested in volunteering a small amount of time to spark girls' interests in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Many girls do not have the opportunity to meet a scientist or engineer- especially a female professional with whom they can relate. As a FabFem, choose the type of outreach that suits your availability and interests - speak at a science night, visit an after-school program, or create a profile page to show girls what it looks like when you follow your passion. Share your past and spark a future.http://www.fabfems.org/

The FabFems Project at www.fabfems.orghttp://www.fabfems.org is another innovative online collaboration tool brought to you by the National Girls Collaborative Projecthttp://www.ngcproject.org/, designed to connect girls with female professionals to increase their interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers.  To find programs for girls, visit the Program Directory at www.ngcproject.org/directoryhttp://www.ngcproject.org/directory.
