Dear National Champions Board,

We had a fantastic convening this past Sunday in Hartford, CT and would like to provide you with some highlights from the evening. As is our custom, we began with a panel of young women in STEM who shared valuable insights with us. Click herehttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1hdAvNAtEDmmDBDqPKlb1Deujrh40SzMe for photos and some video of the girls' responses to questions about their experiences in STEM education and their recommendations to educators and peers. Following that we provided general NGCP updates and then had presentations about two current projects with our fantastic partners, The Franklin Institutehttp://leap.fi.edu/ and SciGirlshttp://www.scigirlsconnect.org/. A PowerPoint deck of the presentation has been attached here for your review. We would love to hear any questions or reactions you might have!

We cannot thank those of you enough who were able to attend in-person, and we hope you had safe travels home. Our next online National Champions Board meeting will be in early 2019.

Thank you to each of you for being a wonderful Champion of the NGCP!

Regards,

Erin Hogeboom
