From Women in STEM posters to NASA Astrophysics Exhibits, NASA's Universe of Learninghttps://www.universe-of-learning.org/ has a wide variety of free resources via the Girls STEAM Aheadhttp://universe-of-learning.org/girls_steam_ahead initiative for your Collaborative's programs and partners!

What is more, thanks to a continued partnership with Space Telescope Science Institutehttp://www.stsci.edu/ (STScI), there are mini-grants to help programs expand their impact with these resources!

  • Attached you will find a Request for Proposals.
  • The 2018 application is here: https://goo.gl/forms/xRLY8pSl47wxCwfr1.
  • Applications are due April 27, 2018.
  • 2018 funds are only available to programs that did not receive funding in 2017. (Collaboratives which received funding in 2017 can apply via a new program in their network.)
  • Please see the recording of our March 2017 Collaborative Leadership Team meeting, in which the STScI team shared information on the initiative: http://connectpro35337274.adobeconnect.com/p93yr9h6a4z/.
    *  Note: This is a previously recorded webinar and applicable dates and requirements have changed. Refer to the attached RFP for an updated timeline and requirements.
  • Funds are restricted to use for the implementation of Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA resources and may not be used to cover overhead, salaries, capital expenditures, or other general operating expenses. However, consumables directly related to the project may be funded, such as office supplies for the activity, or snacks for project participants.
