We love Zoom!

It’s a great web-conferencing tool and we’ve found it to be easier to use and more reliable than Google Hangout. We’re fortunate that CU has a paid account, but there is a good free option as well, that allows 40-min calls for up to 25 participants.

Highly recommended!

Subject: [Collableads] Removal of NGCP Collaborative Conference Line: 2/27/15

Hello Collaborative Leads,

Thank you for your positive responses to our message last week about the NGCP growth and transition.  As mentioned, we will be using this transition as an opportunity to streamline some services. As we move to new processes and systems, you and your Leadership Team will have plenty of notice to make changes.

The first change is ending the use of the Collaborative Conference call line. This is the conference line currently reserved via the NGCP Share Point Calendar, and utilizes the number 1.866.740.1260, code 9774751#.  This line is rarely used by Collaborative leadership teams and there are now many free conference line options. It does not seem efficient to continue paying for this service given this information. We feel these funds could be put to better use.

Any scheduled calls after February 27, 2015 using this line will need to be transferred to another conference line service. At that time, the conference line and the NGCP Share Point Calendar will be removed.

If you have Leadership Team members that schedule Collaborative meetings using this line, please inform them of this change.

We recommend using https://www.freeconferencecall.com/ which many NGCP staff currently use.

Another option is gotomeetinghttp://www.gotomeeting.com/online/meeting/pricing, which offers a free option up to 3 participants.

If you have other low or no-cost resources to share, please let us know!  We will continue to pass along resources to assist.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email collabsupport@ngcproject.orgmailto:collabsupport@ngcproject.org.
