Thank you so much for completing the poll. The most popular date is Tuesday, November 19, 2013, from 10:00am-4:00pm in DC. We'll have a very full agenda with updates, discussion, and presentations. I'll confirm a location and will send out an initial agenda before the end of the summer. Here are two additional updates.
The National Science Foundation Highlights NGCP: NGCP has been highlighted on the National Science Foundation's (NSF) SEE Innovation website in an article titled "Strengthening Informal Science Programs for Girls". The SEE Innovation website highlights outcomes of NSF-funded research and the NGCP is honored to be included! While the NGCP has more recent results than those noted in the highlight, the summary is meant to "highlight" the diversity of outcomes from NSF-supported research rather than describe the most recent research news.

Creating GAMES for Girls: NGCP is partnering with Northeastern University, Seattle and the Institute for Systems Biology on a multi-year initiative to create games that will encourage girls to consider STEM. As we continue to identify partners, I hope some of you will be interested in joining us! Here's an article with more information.

Enjoy your summer! We'll have more news, requests, and questions for you soon. Thanks for everything you are doing to support girls in STEM!
