An important message from Gina…… Good morning State Leads! First of all, let me introduce myself. I’m Gina Carter (formerly Higby) and I’m managing the FabFems database for NGCP. I was formerly with the Texas Girls Collaborative Project and I’m excited to have the opportunity to move to the national level and make FabFems even more awesome. In the next few months, you can expect updated state FabFems downloads (to add to your contact lists), connections, and more communication as we increase our outreach to build the database. I’m working on an August newsletter to all FabFems and I’d love to include upcoming events or opportunities in your states where role models could get involved. By next Thursday, July 26th, please send me the date, name, and link (or appropriate email address for them to contact) for any opportunities you’d like me to include from your state. Our FabFems newsletter reaches all 977 current FabFems including over 100 new role models that were added in the last year!
