Leap into Science State Leadership Teams,

The National Girls Collaborative Project and The Franklin Institute are thrilled to celebrate the 2nd Annual National Leap into Science Week, taking place February 23 – March 1, 2020. As you know, National Leap into Science Week is an annual celebration of science and literacy across all national Leap into Science partner organizations. We are asking all of our Leap into Science partner organizations to be active on social media that week—to share Leap into Science programs you are hosting, as well as your excitement and support for science and literacy learning!

You will find a reminder of the expectations, social media guidelines, and template messaging for connecting with educators in the National Leap into Science Week section of the State Leader Handbook on the State Leaders webpagehttp://leap.fi.edu/state-leaders (reminder: you will need to login to access this). Please complete the National Leap into Science Week Planning Surveyhttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScDLiQB4BIyURpoJuZx7ccoReFovpG2DJq-HjfNupKwwmCCWA/viewform by February 14, 2020 and encourage your educators to do the same. This will help us gather information about what’s happening throughout the week.

Additionally, we would like to extend a very special invitation for you to participate in our National Leap into Science Week Twitter Chat on February 27 at 10:00AM Pacific | 12:00PM Central | 1:00PM Eastern.
