Collaborative Leads, We are pleased to announce a new 2015 Network Project opportunity for our Collaboratives: The SciGirls CONNECT: 2015 Train the Trainer Program. As many of you know, SciGirls CONNECT provides SciGirls training workshops that integrate inquiry-based science instruction with a commitment to gender equity. In this Network Project opportunity, NGCP is looking for Collaboratives to identify one individual to become a Certified SciGirls Trainer to implement this project on behalf of the Collaborative. Please carefully review the attached RFP for more information. Applications are due by January 29th. An informational webinar will be held on January 20th. First preference will be given to Collaboratives that do not currently have a strong SciGirls presence in their region: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Southern New England and Tennessee.
