Requirements of being a Citizen Science Program
To participate, we ask the following items of the Educators in your network:

  • Complete the online Citizen Science Integrating Inquiry Online Course (~20 hours) by July 14, 2017

  • Engage 20-25 students in the activities between May – October 2017

  • Participate in evaluation activities
    *  Educator pre-assessment – delivered to Cornell by May 22, 2017
    *  Educator post-assessment – delivered to Cornell by November 1, 2017
    *  Collect youth pre-assessment between June-September (prior to completing any activities)– delivered to Cornell team prior to September 15, 2017
    *  Collect youth post-assessments (at the completion of implementation) – delivered to Cornell team prior to October 27, 2017
    *incentives are available for completing the evaluation requirements (to include birdfeeders, birding ID cards, and an entry to win binoculars for your program)

  • Provide feedback on training materials
