Mini-Grant Applications Due December 10, 2019
In the latest Leap into Science eBlast on November 12, we announced an opportunity for Leap into Science Educators to receive mini-grant funding to support National Leap into Science Week activities. Below, you will find the language in the eBlast. Please help us spread the word and let us know if you have any questions.

        New Mini-Grant Opportunity – Due December 10, 2019

Trained educators are invited to submit applications for National Leap into Science Week mini-grants in the amount of $500, to host innovative science and literacy programming for children and/or families living in underserved rural or urban communities in partnership with other organizations in their community during National Leap into Science Week (February 24 - March 1, 2020). Requirements

  • Attendance. All state leaders must attend each Community Meeting.

  • Microphone. Every call will require an online microphone connection. Please have a working microphone and test with the Adobe system at the beginning of each call. If you do not have a microphone, please contact Casi Herreramailto:cherrera@ngcproject.org (cherrera@ngcproject.orgmailto:cherrera@ngcproject.org).

  • Video. We have found it to be a little more interactive to use videos. If this is an option for you, please activate your camera during the call.

  • Reporting. Some calls will require state leadership teams to report on specific topics or activities. We will provide advance notice. Please come prepared with these materials.

  • Follow-up. The Franklin Institute and National Girls Collaborative Project will address all questions promptly, and state leadership teams are expected to do the same.
