As we approach the end of 2015, we have some updates and action items for you. Please contact me if you have questions about this. Several are time sensitive. COLLABORATIVE CONTRACTS - 2015: If you have not finalized your 2015 contract and you and I have not had a discussion or come to a separate agreement, you will not be able to access mini-grants, Techbridge Role Models Matter, SciGirls, or other funding and services that may still be available to you as part of the NSF grant or other funding sources. If you anticipate difficulty in finalizing your 2015 contract, please reach out to me ASAP. COLLABORATIVE CONTRACTS - 2016: If your executed 2015 contract does not have an amendment, extending the termination date, you will receive a new contract for 2016 in early January. We will be extending the NSF grant to the end of 2016, however, new contracts will be less focused on grant-related deliverables. The primary purpose of the contracts is to keep our network strong, have agreement on shared values, and ensure the NGCP brand and your local Collaborative is in alignment. Moving forward, we will be collecting a small percentage on event registration fees to cover our system costs and distribution of funds. In the past we have had general administrative support from our NSF grant to cover processing costs and moving forward we will need some assistance in supporting these services. Additionally, we are receiving funds from various funders for distribution to our Collaboratives; however, we need to have a contract with you in order to include you in these projects. CONSTANT CONTACT ACCOUNTS: In January and February we will begin transferring the Constant Contact accounts to your organization as we will no longer be supporting account fees for (except for Arkansas and future new Collaboratives joining us in 2016.) LEADERSHIP TEAM LISTS: We are updating our NGCP Leadership Team list. Please send updates you have to your leadership team list directly to me. We don't remove folks from that list unless someone asks to be removed. NGCP FOLDERS, BROCHURES, CONNECTORY CARDS, FABFEMS CIRCLES: During January, we will be reprinting and distributing supplies of these resources. While we are not planning to do ongoing shipping of resources as we have in the past, we will be sending supplies twice per year. NGCP VISIONING AND LEADERSHIP: As we move from a Principal Investigator/NSF-funded initiative to a network, coalition model, we will be forming some sort of Leadership Council/Executive Committee. We are planning a meeting in early 2016 (most likely February or March). Please contact me if this is something you are interested in.
