Dear Collaborative Leadership Team members,

We are thrilled to announce the second year of our partnership with the "NASA's Universe of Learninghttps://www.universe-of-learning.org/" program in order to bring you Girls STEAM Aheadhttp://universe-of-learning.org/girls_steam_ahead with NASA (GSAWN) resources! The resources range from hands-on activities about space and artistic posters of historic women in STEM, to NASA astrophysics exhibits and informational webinars.

These resources are free, and there is funding available to implement these great tools. (Funds are only available to programs that did not receive funding in 2017, and are restricted to use for the implementation of Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA resources and may not be used to cover overhead, salaries, capital expenditures, or other general operating expenses. However, consumables directly related to the project may be funded, such as office supplies for the activity, or snacks for project participants.)

Attached you will find a Request for Proposals, and the 2018 application is here: https://goo.gl/forms/xRLY8pSl47wxCwfr1. Please see the recording of our March 2017 Collaborative Leadership Team meeting, in which the GSAWN team shared information on the initiative: http://connectpro35337274.adobeconnect.com/p93yr9h6a4z/. (Please note: This is a previously recorded webinar and applicable dates and requirements have changed. Refer to the attached RFP for an updated timeline and requirements.)

If you are interested in applying for up to $200 to help utilize these resources in your program, please complete the applicationhttps://goo.gl/forms/xRLY8pSl47wxCwfr1 by April 27, 2018.
