Thank you for your patience in working through this long email - trying to put as much as possible in one email and work towards just sending one email per week, to reduce your email traffic.

  1. Final Week 1 Curriculum:  Here is the Brite Educator Guide Week 1https://www.bluetoad.com/publication?i=666357 as a digital edition on BlueToad. This works on both desktop and mobile devices. Direct URL: https://www.bluetoad.com/publication?i=666357.  We made some revisions from the version distributed last week, so please use this version.  It is also linked on the grantee pagehttps://ngcproject.org/BriteGrantees.

  2. Week 2 Curriculum:  Week 2 will be distributed next Monday, July 13.  As you use Week 1, feel free to send along any suggestions you have for improvement.

  3. Brite Technical Guide:  Attached again for your convenience.

  4. Office Hours Tomorrow:  The first office hour will be tomorrow at 2:00pm Mountain/3:00pm Central/4:00pm Eastern via zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81656465248.  This meeting is NOT required.  Several of us will be in the Zoom room to answer questions you may have.  Tomorrow's meeting would be a good time to answer questions about the Technical Guide and Week One Curriculum, if you have them.

  5. Media Release for Girls:  We plan to make the live speaker sessions (T/W/Th) available to a broader audience. Our plan is to record the live sessions and release them the next day. Since most girls will appear on screen at some point or have their voices heard, we would like to have media releases from a parent or guardian. We are only going to ask girls to ID themselves by first name and location. For those who aren't able to get a media release, we will ask you to make sure these girls are not on screen and not asking questions live.  Additionally, please insure that girls log on with first name, last initial, program group only.  All girls will be able to respond and submit questions via chat. For anyone who will be on screen or ask a question via audio, we need to have permissions in place.  I will send a media release form in a separate email tomorrow.  If it is easier, we can facilitate this via our NGCP DocuSign system - whatever is easier for you. Just let us know how we can assist.

  6. Information Session for Parents and Caregivers:  A reminder of our optional information session for Parents and Caregivers about the Brite Program on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 6:00pm Eastern/5:00pm Central/4:00pm Mountain.  The meeting will occur via this Zoom link:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87955732323.  We will share the vision of Brite, overview of the program topics and speakers, and answer questions.  The meeting will be recorded and we will share the recording and slides so you can distribute as needed.  The Press Release and list of participating programs is on the Brite public web page here:  https://ngcproject.org/brite.  (This meeting is for adults.  It is not designed to provide information for the girls in your program.)

  7. Reminders:

 * Your Zoom Link: We need the link of your zoom personal meeting room. This zoom room is where you will meet with your program group. We are asking for the link, because we will embed the URL in the online platform.
    * Please send to Kata klucas@ngcproject.org<mailto:klucas@ngcproject.org> by Tuesday, July 7.
 * Your Email for FlipGrid: We need the email address you used (or will use) to create your educator account for FlipGrid, so we may add you as "CoPilots" to the grids we create.
    * Please send to Kata klucas@ngcproject.org<mailto:klucas@ngcproject.org> by Tuesday, July 7
 * Doodle Poll to Schedule Program Debrief: In August we will be holding a Brite Program debrief session to celebrate and collect information from you. Please complete this Doodle Poll<https://doodle.com/poll/49adv2fcq86zfvbt> by Monday, July 13, so we can select a convenient date for this debrief session. Doodle poll full link: https://doodle.com/poll/49adv2fcq86zfvbt

We are so excited to be working with you on this program - which begins in one week!
